Hi again! This week I’m coming to you not from the couch—but from a hotel room. Why? Because I finally did something I’ve been saying I’d do more of this year: I went out and did something completely on my own. I bought myself a ticket to see Taylor Tomlinson, grabbed a hotel room, and had the best night laughing until I needed my inhaler.
In between stories about hotel tubs, bath bombs gone wrong, and knitting in the dark at a comedy show, I talk about what it feels like to choose yourself, celebrate your own wins, and realize that “brave” looks different for everyone. For me, it was going solo to a comedy show. For you, it might be something totally different.
So settle in, laugh with me, and maybe think about the thing you’ve been putting off because you didn’t have someone to do it with. Spoiler: you can absolutely do it on your own.
