Greetings from The Couch.
I’m down with the flu, but I definitely not out. The cats haven’t eaten me yet, either , so there’s that.
Greetings and salutations. Welcome to. Sorry, that's my voice. I'm your host, kat Garcia. Welcome to. Technically we called this a second episode, but we'll go with episode one of Thoughts from the Couch. So, as you may have seen on the social medias, I and you might be able to tell from the sound of my voice I am sick. I sound really fun, but in addition to being sick and sounding really weird, I have a lot of shortness of breath. So I'm not able to talk for, you know, as long as normal, which wouldn't be a problem, except that a typical podcast recording session is like an hour and then I edit it down. So I didn't want everybody to worry and think that I'd given up on the whole podcast idea. I haven't. I just, you know, can't breathe well enough to talk for that long, but I did want to do something and I have been. So I've been sick at home with the cats for this is Wednesday since last Thursday, so six days, and you know the cats were really excited at the beginning and I'm fairly certain, as a friend of mine mentioned to me earlier today, that the novelty of my constant presence has probably finally worn off for them. So, to save my sanity, as you know, much as I can, since there's not a whole lot left to save. Anyways, I have been sending voice memos very short voice memos to friends and family. So I was just recently told, like half hour ago, by my friend Sarah that I am hilarious when I'm sick, and so that really kind of finalized this idea that I should just record some short little you know blurbs for you guys whilst convalescing and I've actually been thinking about this for a little while, because usually when I think about just random little things, I want to tell you it's while I'm sitting on the couch, you know, knitting, eating, trying to prevent cats from eating my food, playing Stardew Valley on my PS4, you know, whatever the case may be. So I decided, yes, even though I sound super weird and these episodes will be so bizarre next to everything else, I've definitely missed recording, and so I needed to put something out into the universe. So hopefully this becomes a more regular occurrence, even if it's just for really short blurbs of time. But I'm really excited to record something. It's been forever and I'm really over being sick, so, without the cats and are going to go. If you're enjoying, like, share, subscribe, wherever you're listening, tell your people, I'm hilarious.
