photographer/ rapscallion
Oh boy, Im really boring, babe. I am a 44 year old mother of two mostly grown women, I am married, I am a part-time photographer and full-time Bad Bitch. I am super into astrology, I have been in therapy off and on since 2016. I am not as sweet as I used to be. I love the desert, grew up in New Mexico and Colorado, served in the military in Arizona. Moved to Ohio in 2002 and lived there until moving here in 2011.
I am constantly evolving into a different [I’d say better] human, but that’s subjective and I am extremely protective of my mental health. I like to talk out my thoughts and ideas with people, I respect other peoples opinions, but not more than my own. I am highly reliable and highly unreliable at the same time, an enigma even to myself, it’s that Pisces midheaven. I’m grossed out by entitlement and arrogance. My voice quivers and my hands shake in confrontation because I am so scared of it and scared of losing people if I disagree with them or if I say and do things they don’t like. I have spent a lot of my life running from that discomfort by being disingenuine to be liked by everyone and not cause any waves. I have learned that the genuine real person that I am, even the unlikeable parts is valuable and those that don’t find or see my value even in disagreements are not for me, I am okay with that now. I am now more devoted to myself than I am to any relationship.
I love sad songs, overalls, and libraries. Ponyboy and Johnny have had my heart since I was 11 years old, my favorite book is The sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson for its poetic writing, ethereal settings and sisters.
I don't know how to answer questions like whatcha been up to or how are you doing because like, bitch, I don’t know. Ask me what I’ve been passionate about lately or in life, ask me about my rabbit holes, ask me something about my brain and my craziness. I can’t remember what I did two hours ago without a ten minute brain search and that’s not worth it for either of us. lol Ask me something with substance and see if I run for the hills or offer you a piece of myself and in return I’d like a piece of you.
Here are things I can talk about for hours:
Therapy type stuff
Astrology- lifelong love.
I love TikTok
witchy shit
Halloween
WIM RIDE. Megan started it because she was having a hard time meeting people as a grown woman living in a new town. She really built the foundation of what it is today. She shared it in all of the other local fb pages, she warmly welcomed the 100’s of members that immediately joined within the first week, probably. She established it as a place for everyone. I was reading the original rules that she made and she even include healthy debate, so I don’t think members realize that these like rules and mission statements I had to come up with during Covid and political seasons of our lives, we’re truly in keeping with Megan’s original vision for this group and I am very proud of that.
Hobbies-
Black and white film photography
Walking and talking.
Art journaling- although I don’t do it hardly ever anymore. I used my art journal to get into graphic design program at Chemeketa. Love lines and composition, drawing-charcoal.
Paper crafts- shout out to Chelsie for those paper flowers.
